Some mornings begin quietly—light moving through the windows, a few pieces being rearranged, a chair shifted slightly to the left so the room feels just right. Other days bring new arrivals: an antique table with beautiful wear along the edges, a piece of art discovered months earlier finally making its way into the space.
The shop is always evolving.
No two visits are exactly the same.
The Process of Discovery
Much of what finds its way into DIGGS begins long before it reaches Greenville.
Some pieces are discovered while traveling. Others come through trusted dealers and antique sources across the country. Occasionally a piece appears unexpectedly—something with the right presence, the right craftsmanship, the kind of object that quietly commands attention.
Danielle Walter has spent years developing an eye for these things.
Before opening DIGGS, she worked for more than a decade sourcing furnishings and materials for luxury communities throughout the Carolinas, including projects connected to The Cliffs. That experience shaped her understanding of what gives a space depth: objects with history, materials with integrity, and pieces that feel meant to be lived with.
At DIGGS, those pieces eventually find their place.
Arranging the Space
Inside the shop, objects are constantly being moved, layered, and rediscovered.
A chair might sit beside a vintage rug for weeks before the right lamp appears to complete the moment. A small sculpture might rest quietly on a stack of books until someone notices it and sees exactly where it belongs in their own home.
The shop isn’t arranged like a traditional store.
